💜💚 Help us welcome Nakiaa to M Frierson Therapy | A Healing Space!

We started the Fall 2026 semester off running and almost missed the opportunity to introduce our newest student joining us this year! 🍂✨

Please help us welcome Nakiaa Robinson, MEd, BSN, RN, our Psychiatric Nursing Intern from Rush University!

Nakiaa brings a wealth of experience as a nurse leader, educator, and community health professional. Her journey spans community-based programming, bedside nursing, care management, and nursing administration.

Currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Nakiaa is passionate about the connection between mental health, population health, and community-based care. She also enjoys mentoring the next generation of nurses!

And outside of her professional life? She's a mom of two daughters, an aspiring backyard homesteader, a skater with Burning River Roller Derby, and a proud Chicago sports fan! 🛼🏀

We're excited to have Nakiaa learning, growing, and bringing her unique perspective to our space as we continue exploring the connection between therapy, wellness, and psychiatry.

Welcome to the team, Nakiaa! We're grateful to be part of your educational journey and look forward to all that this semester will bring! 💜💚
