Joanna Elliott, APRN has become a cornerstone of primary care for our region. Providing comprehensive care across the lifespan, Joanna serves patients from childhood through their senior years, helping families navigate everything from preventive wellness and acute illnesses to the management of complex chronic conditions. Her ability to build lasting relationships with patients, listen with compassion, and deliver exceptional clinical care has earned the trust of countless individuals and families throughout Northwest Oklahoma. In many ways, Joanna serves as the front door to healthcare for our communities, helping patients stay healthy, coordinating care when specialized services are needed, and ensuring they receive high-quality healthcare close to home. Her dedication to her patients and unwavering commitment to excellence have made her one of the most respected and valued providers in our region.
Amy Vasko, APRN-CNM has been instrumental in expanding access to women's and maternal healthcare across rural Oklahoma. As many rural communities continue to lose maternity services, Amy has helped lead efforts to ensure women and families in Northwest Oklahoma can receive the care they need close to home. Whether caring for an expectant mother during pregnancy, supporting a family after delivery, or providing preventive women's health services, Amy brings a level of compassion, advocacy, and expertise that has positively impacted countless lives. Her commitment to improving maternal health outcomes and expanding access to care reflects the mission and vision of Newman Memorial Hospital.
Katie Paul, CNA represents the very best of patient-centered care. In our Specialty Clinic, Katie wears many hats; supporting providers, performing phlebotomy, assisting with nursing responsibilities, helping patients through registration, and often serving as the reassuring face that greets patients when they arrive. Her willingness to do whatever is needed, combined with her genuine care for others, makes her an invaluable member of our team and a favorite among patients and coworkers alike.
What makes these recognitions especially meaningful is that they were earned through the votes and support of the communities we are privileged to serve. They are a reminder that compassionate, high-quality healthcare makes a difference and that our patients notice the dedication demonstrated by our team every day.
