It was a beautiful day yesterday for a cookout at the county park! 🌭 We enjoyed great food, beautiful weather, and wonderful company. A friendly visitor even stopped by with their dog, Cruz, who was happy to make the rounds and visit with everyone. 🐾
After lunch, Amy brought out a balloon to keep the fun going. We spent some time batting it back and forth and enjoying plenty of laughs. Unfortunately, our balloon fun was cut short when it hit something sharp and popped, but it was a good time while it lasted!

The group wasn't able to make it to Dairy Cove on Monday because of the weather, so Molly asked an important question: "Would you rather go for ice cream or play Bingo?" Considering how much everyone loves Bingo, the answer seemed obvious. To Molly's surprise, everyone chose ice cream!

The trip led to a lively discussion about a very important topic... how low do you let your gas tank get before filling up? 😄 Most of the group agreed they would refill once they reached a half tank. Naturally, they wanted to know Molly's answer.

When asked, Molly admitted that her gas light comes on quite often. The group quickly asked if she worried about running out of gas. Molly's response was simple: "Nope! I still have about 60 miles to go when the light comes on, and I just don't like stopping."

To keep everyone happy, a quick stop was made to fill up the van before heading home. Ice cream, good conversation, and a full tank of gas made for a successful outing!

We decided to head to the county park for a cookout since the weather didn't cooperate with us last month. When we arrived, it looked like rain might be on the way, but we only got a few sprinkles and were able to enjoy our time outdoors.

It was wonderful to be back at the park, enjoying good food and great company. When we returned home, everyone asked if we got soaked because it had poured back at The Cottages. Luckily, they guessed wrong—we only felt a few raindrops and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon together!
