There is nothing better than a fresh, relaxing spa day to make you feel loved and refreshed! Our Shawnee team had the absolute best morning giving the wonderful residents at Shawnee Care Center a full pampering experience.

We set the mood with calming aromatherapy, gently cleansed their skin, applied soothing face masks, and finished up with relaxing hand massages! 💆‍♀️🌿

Bringing a relaxing, "sweet presence" and creating intentional moments of comfort and joy for our senior living partners is at the heart of our "Passion Inspired Care." Seeing the huge smiles and glowing faces afterward made our whole week!

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce the newest member of our volunteer family, Tylee! 🌟

Tylee is jumping right in to support our mission in two incredibly meaningful ways. She will be a vital helping hand behind the scenes with our administrative team, while also spending quality time visiting and providing companionship to our patients.

Not a dry eye in the room! 😭❤️✨

Our incredibly talented volunteer, Shea, spent some time singing for the sweet residents at Shawnee Care Center, and it was a performance none of us will soon forget.

Shea’s voice was so beautiful and filled with such a comforting "sweet presence" that it deeply touched the hearts of everyone in the room. In fact, a few residents were so moved that tears started to well up in their eyes.

Our team member, Lydia, gently stepped in to check on them, asking if everything was okay. Through their tears, they smiled and told her:

"She just sings so good!" 🥹🎤

It is moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. Music has a magical way of healing, connecting, and bringing "Passion Inspired Care" straight to the soul.

Thank you, Shea, for sharing your gift and filling the Shawnee Care Center with so much love today! 💙
