The gut and brain are in constant communication through the gut-brain axis — a bidirectional network involving the gut microbiome, immune system, nervous system, endocrine signaling, and the vagus nerve. (CMGH, 2024)

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻:
