HOW does Ziplyft work?

Here’s the simple breakdown:

✨ 1. We numb the area
Ziplyft is performed right here in the office using local anesthesia — no IV sedation or hospital required.

✨ 2. The Ziplyft device gently compresses the skin
The device precisely holds the excess eyelid skin in place. This compression helps minimize bleeding and bruising.

✨ 3. The excess skin is precisely removed
A protected blade removes the targeted excess skin while the device maintains controlled compression.

✨ 4. No stitches!
Instead of traditional sutures, the skin edges are closed with medical adhesive.

✨ 5. You’re on your way!
The entire procedure takes approximately 10–15 minutes per eye, and recovery is typically much quicker than traditional eyelid surgery.

Dr. Florkowski has just returned from a life-changing medical mission in the Andes Mountains of Peru.
For 10 days, he performed sight-restoring surgeries on patients suffering from cataracts and vision-threatening scars — all at 12,500 feet above sea level! Many of these patients had been living in darkness for years, and seeing their joy as their vision returned was truly unforgettable.

Now back home in Kansas City, Dr. Florkowski is grateful to bring those same skills and compassion to the patients he serves every day.
