Thai Yang, LPC-IT, SAC-IT

Thai Yang is a Licensed Professional Counselor In Training (LPC-IT) and Substance Abuse Counselor In Training (SAC-IT). He holds a Master of Arts degree and is actively working toward full licensure. Thai has years of experience in the mental health field, focusing on young adults and adults navigating personal growth and emotional wellness. He is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for all clients.

Areas of Specialization:
Adults ages 18+
Adult Challenges: Addressing the complexities of new beginnings, mitigating job stress, and achieving greater autonomy.
Substance Use Ambivalence: Assessing readiness using the Stages of Change (TTM) model and utilizing targeted strategies to move clients from Contemplation to Action.
Internal Conflict and Self-Criticism: Applying Internal Family Systems (IFS) to resolve internal conflict, harmonize protective Parts, and access the core Self's wisdom and confidence.
Co-Occurring Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders (Dual Diagnosis): Treating individuals struggling with addiction alongside mental health conditions like Anxiety and Depression.

"My goal is simple: to start by offering you a space of unconditional positive regard (Person-Centered), where you don't have to pretend. This safety allows us to explore your inner landscape of 'parts' (IFS) without judgment. As we understand why change feels blocked (TTM), you naturally shift from feeling stuck to feeling truly integrated and ready to live your authentic life."

Justin Wahl Adame, LPC-IT, SAC-IT

I earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health at Lakeland University in May of 2025. I
currently hold my training license for Substance Abuse Counseling and Licensed Professional
Therapist issued through the state of Wisconsin.

My main approach in therapy is person centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy as I view every person as unique and different. I like to pair these approaches with a solution-focused therapy and reality therapy. I also have clients explore art therapy as it sheds light on topics we struggle to verbalize at times. I focus on tailoring each treatment to the clients specific needs while being direct in terminology to ensure clients begin to take hold of problems/struggles at hand. I also have experience in ABA therapy for children with Autism.
