All aboard! Our residents at Navion of Shelby had an unforgettable adventure at the Titanic Exhibition in Charlotte. From exploring the ship’s different classes and artifacts to touching an iceberg and discovering the fate of their assigned passengers, it was a fascinating experience filled with history, conversation, and fun. And the best part? We were all survivors! We wrapped up the day with a delicious seafood dinner at Fisherman’s Feast.

Happy Labor Day! Today, we’re taking a moment to recognize and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of the incredible team members who make our community special every day. We hope everyone enjoys a relaxing day filled with good company, great memories, and a little well-deserved time to unwind!

We wrapped up August by celebrating Happy Trails Day with a morning stroll along Shelby’s Carolina Harmony Trail, a look at some of the best thru-hikes in the U.S., and our own personalized trail mix creations! Our residents chose their favorite fruits, nuts, seeds, and snacks to create a mix that was uniquely theirs. It was a fun-filled day of movement, discovery, and enjoying the journey together. Happy trails until we meet again!

September is full of opportunities to connect, celebrate, and make memories at Navion of Shelby! From a Charlotte outing and Pecan Cookie Day to International Sign Language Day and the Bluebird of Happiness, there’s plenty to look forward to.

National Assisted Living Week will be especially meaningful as we celebrate our residents and team members as the stars who are “Shining Through the Years,” beginning with Grandparents Day and ending with a dinner theater experience in Fort Mill.

Navion of Shelby had a fantastic time cheering on the Shelby Golden Lions at their home opener against Kings Mountain! Our residents enjoyed connecting with neighbors, sharing football spirit, and celebrating a 28–21 victory. We love being part of our community and making memories together. Go Golden Lions!

Navion of Shelby residents enjoyed a delicious outing to one of Gastonia’s best-kept secrets, EJ’s Vegan and Soul Food! From chicken and waffles to macaroni and cheese, collards, and fried okra, every bite had us dancing in our seats. Good food and great company make for the perfect outing!

Aloha from Navion of Shelby! Our Family Luau transported everyone to a warm and breezy tropical paradise with a delicious themed lunch, live ukulele music, and plenty of time to enjoy one another’s company. The fun continued with plenty of laughs and playful antics during our photo shoot!
