I have a completely hypothetical question... 😉
Turns out... you can retire from massage therapy, but apparently massage therapy doesn't always retire from you. 😊
Lately, I keep feeling the Lord nudging my heart toward reopening my little studio.
Not because I miss laundry day (those fitted sheets and so many towels 😂).
Not because I miss hearing, "Can you just dig right there?" while you're unknowingly pointing to three different muscles.
But because I miss you, my clients that became friends and friends that became clients! I miss the conversations, the laughter, celebrating life's milestones together, and the privilege of helping someone leave feeling a little lighter than when they walked in.
So I'm curious...
If I reopened with a small Founding Member group, would you be interested in getting back on a monthly massage schedule? Founding Members would receive a locked-in rate as a thank-you for helping me get things started.
No commitment. No pressure. I'm simply praying through a nudge from the Lord and wondering if He's opening a door I thought had closed.

📣 A Little Life Update + What’s Next for My Massage Practice 💆‍♀️🌿

Hi friends! I wanted to share a quick update and some exciting news.

First and foremost — my massage studio is NOT closing! 🙌 I’m still here and will continue offering massage therapy. However, my schedule will be changing, so it’s more important than ever to book in advance and please keep your appointments. Your continued support means the world to me!

As many of you know, I’ve been a homeschool mom for many years — and I have truly loved every single moment of it. My son is now a senior, doing mostly college-level classes and needing me a little less each day. It’s bittersweet. I will miss the daily time together more than words can say, but I’m so incredibly proud of the men my boys are becoming. 💙

After 30 years of being a hands-on mom (and still loving every second!), I’m entering a new season. I’ll always drop everything when I hear "Hey, Mom!" — or in CJ's case, “Mendi,” because he likes to be funny. 😄

But now it’s time for something new… or maybe not-so-new.

I’m thrilled (and a little nervous!) to share that I’m heading back to Whitefield Academy — a place that has held a special place in my heart for years. Since homeschooling has been such a joy and passion, I’m excited to bring that love and experience into the classroom again. It's definitely giving me “first day of school” butterflies! 🦋

🙏 For Owen, as he starts his senior year and continues to thrive while I take on a more structured schedule.

This is a new season, and I’m walking into it with a grateful heart, a few tears, and lots of hope. I feel so blessed to look back with little regret and forward with anticipation. Thank you all for being part of my journey. 💛

But if you wait until you “feel like it,” you might miss your breakthrough... or even your healing.

Go. Do.
Do it while you’re sad. Go even when you’re tired.
Show up imperfect. Show up messy. Just show up.

Because action brings more progress than waiting ever will.
And here’s your reminder: Today is the youngest you’ll ever be again.

Don’t confuse aging with laziness. You’re still in the game — so play.
