After losing her grandmother to Alzheimer's disease, Nayva was inspired to give back to families navigating serious illness and end-of-life care. She joined Amedisys Hospice as a volunteer in August 2025, honoring her grandmother's memory through compassionate service.

Through administrative support, check-in calls and patient relief, Nayva has discovered that hospice volunteering impacts volunteers just as deeply as the patients and families they serve.

"Nothing brings me greater joy than knowing I help patients smile through a challenging season of life," she shared.

Thank you, Nayva, for sharing your time, your heart and your grandmother's legacy with those we are honored to serve. Your kindness is making a lasting difference.
