Self-Care Sunday

Self-care doesn't have to be expensive or elaborate. Sometimes it's simply making time to do something that helps you feel a little more grounded, a little more rested, or a little more like yourself.

As therapists, we encourage everyone to prioritize self-care but we know it's important for us to practice it too.

This is what our therapist did this weekend for self care.
Angie: walked through a creek in the rain
Kelly: went to a concert and baked a cake
Kerry: had a kid free dinner date with her husband
Chelsea: has a girls day with her daughter
Emily: finished her book

It could be something as simple as taking a walk, reading a few pages of a book, drinking your favorite coffee, spending time with family, creating art, or taking a well-deserved nap.

We'd love to hear your Self-Care Sunday plans or wins in the comments!
