We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Anna Eichten, Michelle Kinney, Jenny Payman, and the entire staff at The Title Team for organizing such a wonderful collection of household items and monetary donations for Healing Hearts!

Your generosity couldn't have come at a better time, especially as we struggle with the recent loss of transportation funding. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference in the lives of the women we serve.

With more than 40 women having come through our doors and an 85% success rate, we are watching something pretty remarkable happen right here in Martin County. We are changing the face of recovery!

The stigma surrounding addiction and alcoholism is slowly being replaced with understanding, compassion, and hope. Women who once felt ashamed are now proudly saying, "I'm in recovery!" They're rebuilding their lives, restoring relationships, finding employment, and becoming part of a growing recovery community.

And the beautiful thing is, it's spreading! It's a ripple effect, with women helping other women discover that recovery is possible and that their past does not have to define their future.

To The Title Team and every single person, church, business, and organization that has supported Healing Hearts, THANK YOU! We couldn't do what we do without you.

We are truly blessed to live in Martin County, where neighbors still look out for neighbors and people come together to lift one another up. ❤️

Healing Hearts Housing provides women in recovery with more than just a safe and sober place to live. We provide a nurturing home where women can rebuild their lives, strengthen their recovery, and work toward long-term sobriety.

Funds raised through our Pancake Breakfast will help support the recovery services that surround the women in our home, including recovery coaches, certified peer recovery support, life skills, transportation, basic needs, and other services that help remove barriers to successful recovery.

Our recovery coaches work directly with the women in the home, walking beside them as they learn accountability, build healthy routines, connect with the recovery community, attend treatment and meetings, find employment, and begin rebuilding their lives.

Healing Hearts Housing, supported by Healing Hearts Recovery, Inc., has now served more than 40 women, and more than 80% have been successful in their recovery journey. Every dollar raised helps us continue providing the support, stability, and encouragement these women need to build a life in long-term recovery.

The Sherburn Lions are generously hosting a Pancake Breakfast benefiting Healing Hearts Recovery and Healing Hearts Housing on Sunday, November 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the MCW High School Cafeteria.
This is our one and only fundraiser of the year, and the money raised truly matters. It helps us continue supporting women who are working hard to rebuild their lives in recovery and move toward healthy, independent futures.
So come hungry! 🥞🍳☕ Bring your family, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and help support a cause right here in our community.

Today was one of those days that I will carry in my heart for a very long time. ❤️

Two of our beautiful ladies at Healing Hearts, Linda and Jenn, were baptized today at East Chain Evangelical Free Church.

Watching these women stand before others, let some of those walls come down, and publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ was incredibly moving. Baptism is so much more than a moment in the water. It is a declaration: I belong to Jesus. I am choosing Him. I am beginning again.

There are moments in this journey when the work feels heavy and we wonder if we are doing enough, if we are making a difference, or if we are truly walking where God has called us to walk.

And then God gives us a day like today.

Today felt like another beautiful reminder from Him: Keep going. You are exactly where I have called you to be.

Healing Hearts was never meant to simply be a roof over someone's head. Our prayer has always been that this would be a place where women could find hope, healing, purpose, community, and a new way of life. Today, watching Linda and Jenn make this public declaration of their faith, I was reminded again that God is doing things within these walls that are so much bigger than any of us.

I am beyond blessed to have witnessed this day, and beyond proud of these two women for having the courage to stand up and say, publicly and without shame, "I choose Jesus."

Linda and Jenn, may today be a day you never forget. May you always remember the way that water felt, the people standing beside you, and most importantly, the God who has been walking beside you every step of the way.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17

What a day. What a blessing. What a beautiful reminder that God is still changing lives. ❤️
