A heartfelt thank you to for your continued support of Healing Hearts Recovery!

Once again, you stepped up when we needed you most by generously donating $200 and helping us with transportation costs so the women in our program can get to treatment, counseling, recovery meetings, medical appointments, court, and all of the places they need to be as they rebuild their lives.

This isn't the first time Valero has invested in our mission. They also made our beautiful patio project possible, creating a peaceful outdoor space where our ladies can gather, heal, and build healthy relationships. Their generosity has made a lasting difference in so many lives.

We are incredibly blessed to have a company like Valero Energy as part of our community. They don't just support local agriculture and provide jobs for so many families, they consistently give back to the communities they serve. That kind of community partnership changes lives.

From all of us at Healing Hearts thank you for believing in our mission and in the women we serve. Your generosity is making a real difference, one life at a time. ❤️

We also know we are not out of the woods yet, and the need is ongoing. If you feel called to support this mission, please know that help is still deeply needed and always appreciated as we continue walking alongside women on their journey to healing

If you feel called to help, donations can be made through Venmo, on our web page at healingheartshousing.org or by mail to Healing Hearts Recovery, Inc at PO Box 58, Sherburn MN 56171. Healing Hearts Recovery, Inc is a 501C3 non profit and a tax deductible receipt will be provided.

Thank you and God Bless!

THANK YOU!!
When we shared our need for help with transportation costs, we honestly didn't know what to expect. What happened next reminded us that we are surrounded by an incredible community.

Several people stepped forward right when we needed them most, and we simply want to say thank you. Your generosity is helping ensure that the women at Healing Hearts can continue getting to treatment, counseling, medical appointments, court, recovery meetings, and all of the places that are so vital to rebuilding their lives.

While we're not completely out of the water yet and the need for transportation funding continues, the kindness we've received has given us the ability to keep moving forward. It has reminded us that we are not carrying this mission alone.

To those who gave, prayed, shared our post, encouraged us, or simply believed in what we are doing, thank you. You may never fully know the impact your kindness has on the lives of the women we serve. Every mile driven represents another opportunity for hope, healing, and recovery.

Recovery truly takes a village, and this community continues to prove that. Thank you for standing beside us, for believing in Healing Hearts, and for believing that every woman deserves another chance.

If you have been thinking about helping but haven't had the opportunity yet, our transportation fund is still an ongoing need. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us get one more woman to the places she needs to be as she rebuilds her life.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion, your generosity, and your faith in this mission.

With gratitude,

Curtis and Cheri Frank

Reducing the stigma surrounding addiction starts with remembering one simple truth: addiction is not someone's dream.
No child ever sat in a classroom and said, "When I grow up, I want to become addicted to drugs or alcohol." They dreamed of becoming teachers, nurses, mechanics, parents, business owners, artists, or pilots. Addiction wasn't the destination. It was something that happened along the way.
One of the greatest tragedies of addiction is that people eventually stop believing in themselves. They feel unworthy. They feel broken. They begin to believe the lies that they will never change.
Then, sometimes, a tiny spark of hope appears. They decide to try again.
But too often, instead of hearing, "I believe in you," they hear, "You've said that before," or "You'll never quit."
Imagine how crushing that must feel.
Years ago, I saw an AA book that had sobriety dates written all over the inside cover. Date after date had been crossed out as the person relapsed and tried again. The entire inside cover was filled with dates.
The person looked at me and said, "Oh my gosh... look how many times I failed."
I smiled and said, "That's not what I see."
"I see how many times you refused to give up. Every one of those dates represents another time you found the courage to stand back up and try again. And here you are."
Recovery is rarely a straight line. It often takes courage to get up one more time than you've fallen. What if, instead of reminding someone of their failures, we reminded them of their strength? What if our words became part of the reason they kept fighting instead of the reason they gave up?
Every person deserves the opportunity to become who they were created to be, not to be forever defined by the worst chapter of their life.
Hope changes people.
Belief changes people.
Compassion changes people.
Let's be the community that says, "I see your potential, not just your past."
Because recovery is possible, and sometimes believing in someone until they can believe in themselves is the greatest gift we can give.

***URGENT NEED***Asking for help isn't easy, but today we're asking.

One of the biggest barriers women in early recovery face isn't the desire to get well. It's simply getting where they need to go.

Every month, Healing Hearts provides transportation so our women can attend treatment, counseling, medical appointments, court, probation, AA and NA meetings, job interviews, and other recovery related services. These rides are essential to their recovery, but our transportation expenses have now exceeded what we have available.

Recovery truly takes a village, and today we're asking our community to help keep these women moving forward.

If you would like to help, you can make a financial donation to Healing Hearts, or you can sponsor transportation directly by making a check payable to "Prairie Lakes Transit" and mailing it to:

Healing Hearts Recovery, P.O. Box 58
Sherburn, MN 56171

Every dollar helps ensure a woman can get to the appointments and meetings that support her recovery. If you're unable to give, please consider sharing this post. Your share may reach someone who can.

Thank you for believing in second chances, in recovery, and in the women we are honored to serve. We couldn't do this without our community. ❤️

YAYYYYY AND THANKS SO MUCH Tracy Muhlenbeck

We have somebody that donated two bicycles that we need badly, but they are located in Wells. Is there anybody in that area coming to Fairmont or Sherburn that could pick them up and bring them down?

There are moments when you look at the numbers, wonder how you're going to make it, and realize that if God doesn't show up, you don't know what comes next.
Recently, Healing Hearts Recovery found ourselves in one of those moments. We had just finished our community tie dye fundraiser. While it was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, fellowship, and fun, it wasn't a financial success. In fact, it didn't raise the funds we had hoped for, it cost us money. 😆 Even so, we wouldn't change a thing. Seeing families, friends, and community members come together was a blessing in itself, and we'd gladly do it again.
From a human perspective, it would have been easy to become anxious. But something was different this time. I wasn't afraid. I simply knew that God already had the answer. I didn't know what it would look like or where it would come from, but I knew He would provide.
And He did.
God chose to work through two incredible churches, whose generous donations arrived at exactly the right time. Your kindness is helping us continue providing hope, recovery support, and a safe place for women rebuilding their lives.
Thank you for listening when God called you to give. You may never fully know the lives your generosity will touch, but we do, and we are deeply grateful.
Time and time again, we are reminded that God doesn't always send miracles the way we expect. Often, He sends people.
Thank you for being His hands and feet.

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:19

These are just a few of the creations that were made at the tie-dye event. share yours, we'd love to see them.
