Do ya’ll remember Myrtle who came to visit for a week last summer? She’s been placed as a service dog with veteran! We aren’t surprised in least, given her calm demeanor and steady presence. We’re proud of you sweet girl!

We’re here for it. We celebrate for that young person who knows they will lose their family when they come out. For the parents who love & protect their kid unconditionally. For the folks that pray it will go away. For the couple who fears holding hands in public.

Our community is so awesome. A couple of months ago we started a ‘trinket trade’ basket in our lobby to help folks feel connected during hard times. And look how full it is! If you need a pick me up this week, stop by and pick up a trinket. We’re here from 9 AM to 6 PM most days this week.

These pictures are just 3 months apart….. Vinyl still enjoys a good snooze next to the Barbies in the play therapy room. Vinyl is doing well in his preparation as a future service dog. At just 6 months, he’s only an inches shorter than Therapy Dog sister, Shamrock & weighs 50 pounds.
