To the righteous -

Our city needs prayer now more than ever.

As we look around and see division, violence, addiction, fear, and hopelessness, we are reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces that seek to steal, kill, and destroy. We believe God is greater than any attack of the enemy, and His light shines brightest in the darkest places.

Let those that are righteous join in praying for our city—for our families, churches, schools, leaders, first responders, and neighbors. May God's peace, protection, and hope cover every corner of our community.

Sacrifice -the act of giving up or losing something of value for the sake of something else

The Jews were expressly forbid to offer what was lame, or blind, or in anyway deformed

We are to offer our entire selves, all that we have and are, to God. No other offering can be such as he will approve

The urge to retreat is a sign that you are on the verge of something new. God isn't looking for a retreat; He’s looking for steadfastness. Whatever you’re facing today, take the next step with confidence. You weren’t made to turn back.

If you are feeling the weight today, you aren't alone. Discouragement is incredibly real, and some days the weight is heavy. In those moments, it’s easy to resort to wishing for a different reality.

But there’s a profound difference between a wish and a hope:

• A wish is passive—desiring a change but without an anchor.
• Hope is active. It looks discouragement right in the face and chooses to believe this chapter isn't the end of the story.

And when the soul feels empty, we remember a deeper truth:

The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. — Lamentations 3:25 (KJV)

We love to claim the first part of that verse—that God is good. But notice the condition tied to it? His goodness is met by those who wait and those who seek.

A lot of times we treat God’s promises like a spectator sport. We hear the word, we nod our heads on Sunday, but then we don't change our walk on Monday. Receiving from God isn't passive; it requires momentum on our part.

Seeking means action. It means moving toward Him in prayer, shifting our habits, and aligning our lives with His word. If you’re waiting on a breakthrough, ask yourself today: Am I just a hearer, or am I a seeker?

Spotlight on Brooklyn! 💜 She may be soft-spoken and reserved, but she is absolutely fierce.

Today she received the Honor Roll award, earned 2 medals for orchestra, and snagged a "1" rating on her cello solo and ensemble performance 🎻she’s been crushing it in art—having her work displayed at the school exhibit and even designing a Starbucks cup! 🎨☕
