Today, we pause to remember a powerful moment in our nation's history and celebrate the enduring spirit, strength, and resilience of generations who fought for freedom and equality.

At Focused Care, we are especially grateful for the stories, wisdom, and experiences shared by our residents. Their lives remind us that history is not just found in books—it lives in the memories, lessons, and legacies passed from one generation to the next.

As we observe Juneteenth, we reflect on the importance of freedom, honor the journey that brought us here, and look forward with hope, understanding, and compassion.

Our hearts—and stomachs—are full this week thanks to the incredible generosity of our community partners! A huge thank you to Kevin with Hospice Plus for treating our team to a wonderful breakfast yesterday, giving everyone a great start to the day. We are also so grateful to Terra with Three Oaks Hospice for the delicious pizza and cookies that brought smiles to our staff. And today, Brandi with Heart to Heart Hospice topped it all off with an amazing nacho lunch that was enjoyed by everyone! Your kindness, support, and partnership mean so much to our team. Thank you for continually showing appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our staff—we are truly blessed to work alongside such wonderful community partners!
