💗 Meet Michelle Johnson, CNA! 💗

This Friday, we’re shining the spotlight on another special member of the Birdie family! 🐦

With more than 20 years in healthcare and 3 years in home health and hospice, Michelle has a true heart for caring for others. For her, patients don’t stay just patients—they become family. 💕

Outside of work, you’ll find Michelle singing 🎶 in her church choir, helping teach the 3- and 4-year-old Sunday school class, cross-stitching, and spending time with her family.

We’re so thankful for the kindness and heart Michelle brings to the patients and families we serve. 💗

💗 Hospice care isn’t just for cancer.

For someone living with advanced congestive heart failure (CHF), everyday life can become increasingly difficult as the disease progresses.

Hospice provides an extra layer of support focused on comfort, symptom management, and quality of life—while also giving families the education and support they need along the way.

One of the biggest misconceptions about hospice is that you have to wait until the very end. Learning about hospice earlier can give patients and families more time to benefit from the care and resources available to them.

Allison has been a Registered Nurse for 7 years and joined the hospice world 4 months ago. She has quickly found a passion for helping patients and families feel safe, supported, and surrounded by compassion during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
