Benny Stadler, 9 years old, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, April 12, 2026. Benny was born on November 30, 2016, and adopted on March 17, 2017.
Benny lived every day to the fullest spreading contagious happiness to everyone he came in contact with. He was generously affectionate and committed to loving everyone unconditionally. He simply coexisted with all creatures. Squirrels and rabbits in his yard never phased him. He did not have any enemies. Benny served as the founder and president of Pets Against Fireworks and Thunderstorms Club - Appleton chapter.
Benny is survived by his adopted parents Eric and Kristin Stadler, his siblings Kate and Jake Stadler, his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, human cousins, and his canine cousins Tuukka, Piper, Cele, Blue, Lucy, and Josie.
A celebration of Benny’s life will occur every day as we fondly remember him.
Benny, saying goodbye to you has overwhelmed us with sadness. Your absence will forever leave a huge void in our hearts and lives. We will miss you excitedly welcoming us home each day, and the way you would lean into our legs and give us cold nose nudges prompting us to pet you. We will miss playing with you, watching you run laps in the house and yard with exuberant energy, and just having you part of our lives. We now envision you running around on a sunny day with other dogs, fetching and stealing toys. We imagine you walking around in the shallow end of a lake, staring into the water and then pawing for treasures. We laugh when we remember you “swimming” as your butt sunk and front paws frantically paddled.
We hope you felt comfort from our love as you peacefully fell asleep. We were so fortunate to have you in our lives and now are heartbroken without you.
