Due to the extreme heat and out of concern for the safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, and staff, we have made the decision to reschedule the 8/5/26 Just Move It event at Shiprock High School to Thursday, August 13.

🌞 JMI is Taking a Short Heat Break! 🌞

A big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us during our West Direction events! Your energy, smiles, and commitment to healthier families and communities made every event special. 💙

As summer temperatures continue to rise, JMI will be taking a two-week heat break to help everyone stay safe. While we're taking a pause from our community events, we encourage you to keep your healthy journey going at home!

🏃‍♀️ Take a family walk in the early morning or evening.
🏃‍♂️ Go for a run together.
💧 Stay hydrated.
🌿 Spend time outdoors safely and continue practicing T'áá Hwó Ají T'éego—taking charge of your own health and wellness, one step at a time.
