Summer is the perfect time to explore local playgrounds. Just remember a few quick tips to help keep kids safe while they play.

• Check that equipment isn’t too hot before little hands and feet climb on.
• Look for sturdy, well-maintained equipment and soft landing surfaces.
• Keep an eye on kids as they climb, slide, and swing.
• Make sure shoes are secure and laces tied to prevent trips and falls.
• Bring water and take shade breaks to avoid overheating.

Let’s make this a fun, safe summer!

Ticks are already finding their way onto pets and people. Take precautions if you are spending time outdoors this spring!

Ticks can be THIS TINY 🤯🤯 Would you see a tick this small if it was on you?

Even the smallest ticks can cause big problems, having the potential to spread a multitude of diseases to humans. Ticks tend to hangout in grassy or wooded areas. Protect yourself by using bug spray, wearing long sleeves and pants, and checking for ticks after being outside.
