From beaded bracelets to accordion music, there was a bit of everything happening this week.

Craft time had us creating beaded bracelets, a colorful project that kept everyone busy and chatting. We also took part in the North City Jazz Walk in Shoreline, connecting with community members and sharing what makes Laurel Cove special.

Our monthly Resident Council Meeting gave residents a chance to offer ideas and feedback that help shape life here. And accordion music brought some lively tunes to end the week.

Laurel Cove had plenty to celebrate recently, starting with our team.

Staff appreciation week included traditional attire and dishes that reflected the diverse cultures within our team. Later on, residents made their way to Edmonds Waterfront Park, trading the dining room for a lunch with a view.

Between a waterfront lunch, karaoke day, and some creative time, it's been a memorable week at Laurel Cove.

We headed to Anthony's on the Edmonds waterfront for a lunch outing, with fresh air, beautiful views, and a table packed with great company. We also got hands on with a flower craft, putting together arrangements with a bit of color and creativity.

Karaoke rounded things out with everyone's favorite songs, plenty of laughs, and no shortage of cheering each other on.

Between health education, community connections, and a holiday celebration, there has been a lot happening at Laurel Cove.

We celebrated America's 250th birthday together, full of patriotic spirit and memorable moments. Midweek, a guest speaker joined us for a session on diabetes and foot care, offering tips we could put to use right away.

We also hosted the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, an afternoon with great conversations and community connection.

Music and friendly competition made for a memorable week at Laurel Cove. A piano sing-along drew us in with old favorites, voices joining in one by one until the whole room was part of it.

Ice cream day followed soon after, bringing out a lighthearted trivia showdown with plenty of laughs.

Father's Day at Laurel Cove looked a little something like this.

Our residents were hands on, arranging fresh flowers in small vases for the lunch tables. Our community dining room has never felt warmer, filled with good food, great company, and a celebration that honored every father in the room.
