❤️ Why I Do What I Do

There was a time in my life when I was searching for healing myself.

I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed.
I know what it's like to hurt.
I know what it's like to search for answers.

And I know how powerful it can be when someone simply listens to you and sees you as a whole person.

My own journey is part of the reason I became an acupuncturist.

Today, I have the privilege of sitting across from people who are on their own healing journeys.

I don't take that privilege lightly.

Every person who walks through my door has a story.

Why do so many people feel incredibly relaxed during acupuncture? 😌

One of the things I hear from my patients is:

"I feel so relaxed!"

Some people even jokingly call the feeling being "acustoned." 😂

Acupuncture involves very fine needles placed at specific points on the body. During a treatment, many people find that lying quietly in a peaceful environment gives them an opportunity to finally slow down.

And sometimes your body desperately needs that pause.
