My Dad came home from the Army and met my mom. 5 years they struggled and fought to get my mom her citizenship. She was probably the most in-your-face patriot of this nation you'd ever seen.

My husband fought for this great nation for 23 years and while he may have been medically discharged, his service will never end.

My grandfather, his grandfather and others in our families have served and never once regretted it.

It wasn't easy coming home for my dad who served during Vietnam. It wasn't easy for my husband who served all over, including Afghanistan, to reintegrate into society.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the best Nation on earth, do not forget those who made this possible. It won't end well 😉
