Shreveport Counseling & Restoration Center We provide individual, couples, and group counseling from a faith-based, trauma-informed perspective. We customize treatment based on the client's needs.

We specialize in treating betrayal trauma, infidelity recovery, play therapy, and trauma recovery. Here's a little bit about Tonya:

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), I work with older adolescents and adults facing a variety of life's challenges. My goal is to provide a space where individuals can feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported as we work together toward meaningful and lasting change.

My experience includes helping individuals overcome substance use disorders, manage anxiety and depression, cope with stress, navigate major life transitions, strengthen relationships, and build healthier patterns of thinking and coping. I incorporate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care.

No matter where one is on their healing journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My hope is that every client leaves each session feeling a little lighter and hopeful along with feeling equipped with practical tools to move forward with confidence.
