Vitreo-Retinal Associates is looking to hire a part-time Ophthalmic Technician. We will train, but it would be greatly beneficial for you to know how to take manual blood pressure. Hours would be Monday and Tuesday from 8:00-5:00. We work with an elderly population so care and patience are a must. This could potentially turn to full-time. Medicare open enrollment is going on now and will close on December 7th. Please know the facts before choosing a plan. Traditional Medicare along with a supplemental policy is strongly encouraged to guarantee ease of care in our practice at the beginning of the year. If you have traditional medicare and a supplement and need an injection or laser, we will be able to do that injection on the same day. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you will need to return at a later date so we can research your insurance and obtain authorization. Before electing for a Medicare Advantage plan, please consider that this places a larger administrative burden on your healthcare providers and that it can delay your treatment.

Busy medical practice is seeking a check in receptionist. Responsibilities include greeting patients, updating insurance and demographic information, answering the telephone, scheduling patients, printing and distributing faxes, and helping as needed. Experience is preferred so please do not apply unless you have relevant experience. A friendly and confident demeanor and neat appearance is required. You must be comfortable working with elderly patients. Hours will be Monday & Tuesday from 8-5.
