Hemochromatosis is a genetic condition that causes a buildup of iron in the body (also referred to as iron overload). Symptoms include bronze, metallic or gray skin discoloration, fatigue, and abdominal pain to name a few. The specialists at the Liver Center have experience treating hemochromatosis. If you think these symptoms may apply to you, discuss them with your doctor.
