Here are 5 SUPERIOR ways to help your child prepare mentally for school: 💙🍎

1. Re-establish a Routine
Start adjusting bedtimes, wake-up times, and daily schedules before school begins. Predictable routines help children feel safe and confident.

2. Talk About Their Feelings
Ask open-ended questions about how they’re feeling. Letting them express their emotions helps reduce anxiety.

3. Set Realistic Expectations
Remind your child that they don’t have to be perfect. Encourage them to focus on learning, trying their best, and asking for help when needed.

4. Build Their Confidence
Celebrate their strengths and remind them of challenges they’ve successfully overcome. Confidence grows when children know they are capable and supported.

5. Let Them Know You’re in Their Corner
Reassure your child that it’s okay to have tough days and that you’ll be there to listen, encourage, and help them through any challenges.
