For more than 15 years, Susan Howard has been a trusted and familiar face within Catahoula Parish Hospital District #2, faithfully serving patients and families since 2009 with compassion, dedication, and personalized care.

Originally from Mangham, Louisiana, Susan attended NLU and Grambling State University and has devoted her career to improving the health and well-being of the community she proudly serves. She is affiliated with both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, reflecting her commitment to excellence in healthcare and continued professional growth.

At Island Medical Clinic, Susan is known for the genuine relationships she builds with her patients and the heartfelt care she provides each day. Her passion for community-centered healthcare and her dedication to treating every patient like family have made her an invaluable part of our clinic and our community.
