This year's garden party proved to be a highly successful event, with a substantial turnout. We were pleased to make the acquaintance of new individuals and reestablish relationships with those we have previously met. It was an excellent occasion to unwind, find humor in the prizes, and acknowledge that our efforts to support those with dementia are part of a larger community. We are here to provide support to those who require guidance on new strategies and simply need someone to converse with.

We have been pretty busy that we forgot to share our field day from last week..
Our local 1st graders from Longfellow School spent some time this year writing back and forth to our residents. Last week the whole 1st grade came to visit us and some of us got to meet our pen-pals. We rotated the kids through the building to different stations. We had flower pot making with Brittany, Doris and Lindsay for mothers day, beaded braclet making with Linda and Joann, Dr Seuss reading with Joyce and Phyllis, Balloon Volleyball wuth Tom, Josh, Jim, Nick and Deb and Music time with Pat and Ginni. Lots of us rotated to different stations but a few of us stayed at the same station. The kids also celebrated our nurses for the start of nurses week. We finished the day with our favorite BINGO.
Thank you to everyone who donated their time to help make this day go so smooth.
