Congratulations

Today’s protest was a success! Social workers and behavioral health providers showed up to make it clear that our system is already under strain and cannot absorb more instability. Providers delivered services in good faith and should not be forced to carry the burden of retroactive financial decisions.

CareSource has stated now they have no plans to move forward with recoupments. We will continue to stay visible and make sure that commitment holds. The only reason that is even happening is because of your advocacy.

This is bigger than one issue. Medicaid reimbursement rates for social workers are too low to sustain care. If we want access to services in Ohio, we must invest in the workforce. Increase reimbursement rates. Pay social workers what they deserve.
