Compassionate Care now has a Barney Box:

Our Barney Box provides free access to a variety of harm reduction and health resources, including:

✔️ Naloxone
✔️ Fentanyl Test Strips
✔️ Xylazine Test Strips
✔️ Pregnancy Tests
✔️ Hygiene Kits
✔️ Pads & Tampons
✔️ Gun Locks
✔️ Safe-Sex Kits (Male & Female)
✔️ Deterra Drug Disposal Bags

These resources are available to help support the health and safety of our community.

No Show & Late Arrival Policy

At Compassionate Care of Shelby County, our providers generously give their time to care for our patients. Missed appointments prevent other patients from receiving the care they need and impact the clinic’s ability to serve our community.

Medical & Lab Appointments

* Three (3) no-shows will result in dismissal from the practice for one (1) year.
* Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule their appointment, and the visit may be counted as a no-show.

Dental & Mental Health Appointments

* One (1) no-show will result in dismissal from the dental or mental health practice for one (1) year.
* Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule their appointment, and the visit may be counted as a no-show.

We understand that emergencies happen. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact the clinic as soon as possible so we can offer that appointment time to another patient in need.

We had a wonderful group tour at the clinic today! I loved hearing everyone’s stories, dreams, and future plans. We even met one student who hopes to become a dentist one day!

The future is bright, and it’s inspiring to see so many young people passionate about making a difference.

A huge thank you to United Way for bringing this amazing group to Compassionate Care of Shelby County and for helping us share the opportunities, hope, and positive impact happening right here in Shelby County. We loved having you!
