Southwest Cancer Care invites you to experience the calming, restorative power of sound and guided meditation. Join us for a peaceful session led by Dr. Bindi Patel, DDS, certified meditation coach and Healing Breaths faculty member.

Being a patient is not a requirement, this is open to the Community. There is no fee to come and you are welcome to bring a mat but the class is equally as relaxing in a chair provided.

Southwest Cancer Care built the community room for this specific purpose to promote health and wellbeing throughout this community, so please join us.

It's Finally Happening! We are moving! Starting Monday May 5th we will be providing services at our new location: 2250 El Mercado Loop, Sierra Vista. This is at the south end of the Mall in Sierra Vista. We will be closing our current location on S Coronado drive. Our last day of service at our current location on S Coronado will be Friday, May 2nd. Please note that all services for infusion and blood draw will also be moving as well to the new location. Please spread the word! As many of you know, this has been in the works for a long time and we are super excited for this new chapter. Please be patient with us as we work out the kinks.

With just two and a half hours left to go, we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the anticipated "Walls of Hope" event. With patients, families, and friends, we will stand together to support those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

We will have markers to "write in stone" the messages of inspiration.

See you later today at 3 pm near the mall at the former home of Sears.

Please join us on Saturday as we stop construction and invite the local community to write words of hope, support, and inspiration on the unfinished walls of the soon-to-be new home of Southeastern Arizona's newest Cancer Center.

This event will allow us the opportunity to show support for those who will be treated within these walls. Words, drawings, prayers, and poems will provide heartfelt inspiration to all who have been touched by illness including patients, caregivers, family members, and healthcare professionals. "Written in Stone," these inscriptions will forever remain on these walls to comfort patients and caregivers knowing how much love and support surrounds them throughout their journeys.

We look forward to our community's support to participate in this special event. Bring with you your thoughts and present them as drawings, poems, or prayers which help reflect the wide range of emotions experienced by each person's individual and unique journey with illness. Let us together honor those who did not survive cancer and support those who continue admirably in their battles.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it's a time to come together to support those affected by this disease. Together, we can C.A.N. (Conquer, Advocate, and Nurture) to find a cure for breast cancer.

What can you do to help?

* Get screened for breast cancer. Early detection saves lives.
* Donate to a breast cancer research or support organization.
* Wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
* Share information about breast cancer with your friends and family.

Let's all work together to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
