Join Us for Fatherhood First Fishing Day 2026! 🎉🎣

The Missouri Bootheel Regional Consortium, Inc., in partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation, invites families out for a fun-filled day of outdoor activities at Combs Lake in Kennett, Missouri!

📅 Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026
🕒 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Lunch provided from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
📍 Location: Combs Lake, Kennett, MO

What’s Happening:
🏹 Activities: Fishing, archery, and boat rides!
🛡️ Safety & Special Guests: Official safety presentations by the Missouri Department of Conservation. The Missouri National Guard and state & local officials will also be on-site.
🎁 Perks: Free music, refreshments, and breakfast snacks during registration. Free T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis!
🎟️ Prize Drawing: Enter the MBRC Board of Directors drawing for a chance to win incredible prizes, including an $1000 cash grand prize, a Smart TV, or a laptop (Donations: $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00).
Important Details:
🚌 Free Transportation: Pick-up services are available at designated community hubs across Scott, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Mississippi, Dunklin, and Butler counties.
🎣 Gear: Adults and children are highly encouraged to bring their own fishing poles and equipment. A very limited number of loaner poles will be available on-site (I.D. required).
👶 Supervision: All children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times.

This , learn more about the support options available to you on your breastfeeding journey. Your support team can include peer counselors, nurses, doctors, and certified lactation consultants. Your ob-gyn can refer you to these resources and help you discover what works best for you and your baby.
