Our VERY scientific research see if our new blow dryers had as much power as our current blow dryers 💨

If you’ve been in the salon since we received our new Sam Villa Professional SessionONE tools, you know how excited we are. We love Sam Villa and everything he creates. We use his brushes, combs, blow dryers and now he has brought us these amazing tools (blow dryer and two sizes of flat irons) that all use ONE CORD! Good bye tangled cords in our station 🤪

I’ll officially be back in the salon starting tomorrow, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited.

After everything that’s happened over the past week, getting back behind the chair feels like a step toward normal again. I’m so thankful to be returning to the place I love, seeing all of my amazing clients, and being back with my incredible salon family.

Thank you all for your prayers, support, and kindness through this season. It has meant more to my family than you’ll ever know.

The original plan for this post was a big HUGE shout out to Monica for the planning, planting and maintenance of these gorgeous plants and flowers. Thank you Monica for your vision and consistency to keep these flowers so beautiful 💐💖

But as I stood there admiring them, I stood a little longer and slowly took in what I was seeing. I thought how much transformation this building has seen in the 22 years we’ve been growing our business here. The ups and downs, mountain-top moments and the why-am-I-even-doing-this moments…. They all collided in a kaleidoscope of emotions, while I gazed at the building that houses 15 women, working, sharing life, praying for each other, celebrating each other, crying with each other, and making some money too!

At every season of this business I’ve cried, some happy tears, some out of fear, some out frustration, but I’m so thankful I never gave up. I would’ve missed this moment of reflection. I would’ve missed the amazing women I get to work with. I would’ve missed out on each of you. And like any kind of growth, I’m proud of both these images, because every step of this journey has brought me to where we are today.

To all the salon owners out there, in this unique industry, I just want to say, KEEP GOING! No one has it all figured out, no one feels successful everyday they open the doors, the only difference between those who make it and those who don’t are the ones who never gave up!
