Carefree Living of Silver Bay is looking to add a few Resident Assistants to our team.

We currently have part-time openings on AM, PM, and NOC shifts. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with an additional shift differential available for PM and NOC shifts.

This past week, Brad N. from Moments Hospice kindly provided delicious dirty soda floats for the staff and residents, which were certainly a delightful treat! The flowers that the residents had planted are now in full bloom and appear quite lovely. Following this, they engaged their creativity by decorating their own 3D wooden flower crafts, all while enjoying a sing-along to some classic oldies music. Naturally, several rounds of BINGO were played! The residents are quite enthusiastic about playing as often as permitted. The ladies from the Isabella Church Group graced us with beautiful piano music for a sing-along, after which everyone enjoyed coffee, sweet treats, and engaging conversations. The residents also demonstrated their impressive cognitive skills during a word mining activity, successfully identifying 125 words! That truly exemplifies excellent teamwork!

We have been quite active this past week, engaging in enjoyable activities such as giant Scrabble, several competitive rounds of FARKLE, numerous games of card match bingo, and we were delighted to host visitors from the Silver Bay Public Library for their summer reading program for children. Our residents were absolutely radiant, their faces adorned with beautiful smiles as they watched the children enjoy reading time with them and participate in a fun craft. We also savored some delicious snacks and delightful lemonade punch. Furthermore, we have been taking pleasure in the lovely weather by spending time outdoors and socializing with one another.
