A little late, but too special not to share! 💙

A few weeks ago, we had a wonderful time at our Sensory Play event. It was incredible to see children exploring, learning, creating, and connecting while parents and caregivers shared time together and built new friendships.

Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the day such a success. Watching our community come together to support children’s growth and development is always a reminder of why this work matters.

We can’t wait to see you at the next Beginning Years event! ✨

For 25 years, Marcy has been a steady source of support, compassion, and connection for families in our community.

Twenty-five years of showing up.
Twenty-five years of listening, encouraging, guiding, and walking alongside parents and children through some of life’s most important moments.

The kind of work she does often happens quietly behind the scenes, but the impact lasts for generations.

Families may forget exact conversations over the years, but they never forget how someone made them feel supported, seen, and cared for and Marcy has given that gift to countless families across Grant County.

Her dedication, heart, and commitment to this work are truly something special, and we are beyond grateful for the care she has poured into our community over the last 25 years.

Thank you, Marcy, for a lifetime of service, compassion, and unwavering commitment to families. Your work has made a difference in more lives than can ever truly be measured.

To all the mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and mother figures in our Beginning Years family today we celebrate you. ❤️

The late nights, the early mornings, the comforting hugs, the hard decisions, the endless love, and all the quiet moments in between, they matter more than words can say.

Thank you for the countless ways you show up for your children every single day. The love, strength, patience, and care you pour into your families are helping shape the future of our community one child at a time.

We know motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, joyful, emotional, and sometimes overwhelming all at once. No matter what season you are in, we hope today reminds you that you are seen, appreciated, and deeply valued.

Sometimes development looks like something simple…

A crayon in a little hand.
A mother leaning in close.
A child naming animals one by one.

But in moments like this, so much is happening.

Language is growing.
Fine motor skills are strengthening.
Curiosity is blooming.
Confidence is building.

And through it all, connection is leading the way.

Nathaniel and his mom Ashley remind us that early learning doesn’t only happen in big milestones.

It happens in these beautiful everyday moments of play, exploration, and relationship.

At Beginning Years, this is the heart of home visiting supporting parents as their child’s first and most important teacher, and celebrating how nurturing interactions help children thrive across every area of development.

We are so grateful for families like Ashley and Nathaniel who allow us to walk alongside them in these moments.

Because sometimes what looks like coloring… is really brain building. ❤️

And that is powerful.
