As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close this week, we wanted to take a moment to honor the therapists behind the work. 💜 🧡
The ones holding space for hard conversations.
The ones showing up with compassion, consistency, and care.
The ones helping people navigate grief, anxiety, trauma, identity, relationships, burnout, healing, and growth every single day.
Therapy is more than techniques and interventions. It’s human connection, advocacy, emotional presence, and creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be honest about what they’re carrying.
This week, we asked some of our therapists to reflect on why they became counselors, myths they wish people understood about therapy, and resources they often share with clients. Their responses are thoughtful reminders of the heart behind this work and the importance of accessible, culturally responsive mental health care.
To our therapists: thank you for the emotional labor, the advocacy, the patience, and the care you pour into your clients and communities every day. We appreciate you. 🫶🏾
