Call for Programs! The SCHA Annual Meeting Program Planning Committee is accepting program proposals for the 2027 Annual Meeting.

The deadline to submit proposals is October 10, 2026.

What Are We Looking For?
We welcome proposals representing the broad scope of college health and encourage submissions from professionals across disciplines and experience levels.

Topics may include clinical care and best practices, mental health, health promotion and prevention, student well-being, leadership and administration, quality improvement, marketing & communication, innovative programs and services, population health, emerging issues in college health, and strategies for engaging and serving today’s students.

As we continue planning for SCHA 2027, we recently toured The Read House and explored downtown Chattanooga to help prepare for welcoming you all in March.

The SCHA 2027 Call for Programs opens August 10!

Now is the perfect time to start planning your presentation. Whether you've developed a new process, solved a challenge, or discovered a best practice, we'd love to hear from you!

The Call for Programs will be open August 10 through October 10, giving you two months to submit your proposal.

This year's attendees asked for more sessions on topics like clinical updates, leadership and administration, health promotion, marketing and communications, AI and emerging technologies, and quality improvement.

We've shared a more detailed list of requested topics in the Announcements section of the Southern College Health community in ACHA Connect (under My Communities) to help spark ideas.

Planning to submit to ACHA 2027? Consider submitting to SCHA, too! One strong proposal can often be adapted for both conferences, allowing you to share your work with both regional and national audiences.

Mark your calendar for August 10, and keep an eye on your inbox for the official Call for Programs. We can't wait to see your ideas for SCHA 2027!

What an incredible week in Charleston!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Sunbelt Directors & Administrators Conference. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and share ideas that strengthen college health and improve the well-being of the students we serve.

SCHA was proud to have a strong presence at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the American College Health Association (ACHA) in Denver, Colorado last week.

Throughout the conference, our members engaged in meaningful discussions, attended educational sessions, presented, shared best practices, and connected with college health professionals from across the country, all with the goal of advancing the health and well-being of students on our campuses.
