NBNA Celebrates Women’s History Month with Iconic Nurses!

Charlene Whitaker-Brown, DNP, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, CHFN

Dr. Charlene Whitaker-Brown () is a lifetime member of NBNA and an active member of the Piedmont BNA (). In 2022, she was selected as a representative from NBNA for the inaugural USAgainst Alzheimer's Nurse Fellowship. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Nursing at UNC Charlotte and the Founder and CEO of the MindHeart Institute and Wellness Center in North Carolina, where she specializes in mental health.
