Lois has called Country Meadows home for 14 years and is sharing a little piece of what makes her smile: her wonderful hedgehog collection.

Lois began collecting hedgehogs about 15 years ago after visiting a friend who had one as a pet. She thought it was so cute that she wanted one of her own. Since she couldn’t have a pet hedgehog, she decided to buy a little ornament to display instead. From there, her collection began to grow.

From time to time, Lois shares her collection in the Country Meadows display case so others can enjoy it too.

Juliet Magdaleno recently led a tour of the gardens at Country Meadows & Clearbrook Inn, sharing her knowledge of the many plants found throughout the grounds.

Juliette oversees the planting and had plenty to share along the way, from answering questions to explaining the different plants and features.

Last Saturday marked our 18th Annual Car Show at Encore Communities, and it was one to remember.

Classic cars filled the campus while guests enjoyed live music right here at Country Meadows and lunch from our kitchen. This year also brought a special addition, an antique fire engine on display for the first time.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us.
