We’re so grateful for our friends at Carolina Sobies for coming for another fantastic night of sharing & testimony with us here at S**T!!

S**T finished our Back to School donation drive for our friends at the Center for Community Services Simpsonville, SC! 📚🎓

The S**T Team came together to donate school supplies (backpacks, pencils, pens, scissors, rulers, and even custom keychains — Anthony!) to students here in our neighborhood as they get ready to get back into the classroom.

Big thanks to everyone who participated in the donation drive as well as to our very own BHT & Group & Programming Coordinator, Lisa Corwell, for organizing it! And finally, a huge shout-out to our friends at the Center for Community Services, who provide essential resources and support for families who need them — from food & utility assistance, providing a free medical clinic, resume & job search help, ESL courses, and more, they are here to help our community thrive! 💙💚 Make sure to check them out!!

We had an incredible evening over at Mauldin Police Department's National Night Out last night!! 🚔🤩 We had a huge crew show up to represent S**T and volunteer for the event — you couldn’t miss us in our custom-made “dusty rose” S**T shirts that Anthony Richmond made for all of us who participated!

Our volunteers for the night included Casey, Rob, Anthony, Jerry, Rebecca, Chip (and fam), David, Hubert, Tammy (and fam), Kelly, Will, Sam, and even a S**T alum pulled up (shout out to Gary)!!! It’s times like these that our team has the opportunity to continue to connect, help our community, and share more about what we do to help individuals overcome the disease of addiction. 💜

As you can probably tell from our pics, we had a ton of fun — Rebecca made herself some new friends (🐐), we had more than our fair share of shaved ice, Will & David got in an inflatable axe fight, Will stole Anthony’s sweet chair (then eventually gave it back!), Jerry never left his post at the slide, and plenty more shenanigans with the team (who’s surprised at this point?)!

If you’ve never been to Mauldin PD’s National Night Out event, you should give it a whirl next year — it’s always a great time with plenty of free events, activities, resources, and food for all!! Big thanks to the Mauldin Police Department for such an amazing time! 👏🚨🎉
