WHAT A WEEKEND… WHAT A WEEKEND! ❤️🎓🎂🍷
Derrick and I had the complete honor of moving our girls into college this weekend while also celebrating our sweet Bailey Grace’s 8th birthday! Talk about a weekend full of ALL the emotions! 🥹❤️
Saturday, we traveled to Columbia to move our Baby Mat into USC. 🎓❤️ Watching our baby begin this brand-new chapter as a freshman at the University of South Carolina filled our hearts with so much joy. She is absolutely elated, and we are beyond proud of her! 🐔❤️
Then we headed back from Columbia to Greenville to celebrate our sweet Bailey Grace turning the BIG 8! 🎂🎉 She may be the baby of the gang, but we love that girl beyond life itself! She wanted seafood, so we took her to Crab Du Jour, and she absolutely loved it! 🦀❤️ We ended the night with birthday cake, singing “Happy Birthday,” opening gifts, and lots of smiles. Everyone was happy as can be! 🥰
And then today, we took our Amadisyn to the College of Charleston to begin her sophomore year! 💙🎓 She had an amazing summer working and completing her second law internship—this time with FR Law. I am truly grateful for the opportunities she has been blessed with that will continue to pave the way for her and give her a strong jump-start toward becoming an attorney. ⚖️❤️
And one thing I WILL say… my girl made her money this summer! 😂💰 She also learned Financial Planning 101 with the greatest—Edward Jones, David in the Greenville office. Teaching our children financial literacy and investment skills early is so important. We want our girls to understand not only how to make money, but how to manage it, invest it, and build with it. 💰📈
All in all, Derrick and I are simply PROUD. Proud of every single one of our girls. ❤️
We will continue to push them beyond their comfort zones, encourage them to dream bigger, work harder, and become everything God has called them to be.
🎂 Happy 8th Birthday, Bailey Grace!
🎂 Happy Belated Birthday, Savanna!
🎓 Cheers to Mat & Amadisyn on these beautiful new beginnings!
Our babies are growing up, and while my heart is a little emotional, watching them become who they are meant to be is one of the greatest blessings of our lives. ❤️
Here’s to new chapters, big dreams, hard work, and even bigger blessings! 🥂🍷🎓🎉
Mom & Dad are ALWAYS going to be your biggest cheerleaders! ❤️
