Promise Community Health Center opened in Sioux Center in 2008 and operates as the only Federally Qualified Health Center serving the far northwest corner of Iowa. Promise offers medical care, prenatal care, behavioral healthcare, population health care as well as dental and vision care. Promise also offers nurse health coaching, clinical pharmacy and affordable medications, lab services and immun

izations, interpretation and translation, and various other services. Promise’s outreach staff will assist you with filling out complex paperwork, help arrange for transportation or interpret for you. We help you overcome whatever barriers you may face to health care. In the future, Promise will constantly adapt to meet your health-care needs because we understand that the services you need today might not be what you need tomorrow. EVERYONE IS WELCOME
Promise is a community health center which means we aim to serve the whole community – any language, background, or insurance status. If you have a lower income and no insurance, we would love to serve you and are able to offer a discount on your services. We will also support you in any other barriers to better health. If you have insurance, we would love to serve you. By choosing Promise, you can support your community as these insurance payments can help Promise’s financial strength to continue its mission. It is a great way to partner with us as we continue to make health care available to all individuals.

Rebecca is a bilingual registered play therapist who believes children communicate in so many different ways and sometimes, play says more than words ever could. Through school based therapy and play therapy, she helps kids navigate life’s challenges while creating a space where they feel safe and free to be themselves.
Outside of work, Rebecca is creative through and through. She loves art, writing, music, theater, and spending time outdoors in the sunshine. She’s also a coffee lover, violin player, golfer, gardener, mom of two, and a proud dog mom. 🌿☀️

If you have a child entering Kindergarten or 9th Grade this fall, Iowa law requires them to submit a Certificate of Dental Screening to their school! 🦷

A screening does not replace an exam by a dentist. Children should have a comprehensive dental exam at least once a year! Screenings are quick, focused checks to make sure your child’s teeth are healthy and pain-free. Since the screenings are fast, it’s incredibly easy to slide an appointment into your schedule now so you don't have to worry about it during the August rush.
