"Visiting Angels is honored to partner with Jeff Harstad to bring Mirage in the Sand directly into the hands of our local veterans. Scroll down to learn more about this impactful project!"

Round 2 is complete!

Today, we delivered 92 copies of Mirage in the Sand to UnityPoint Health in Sioux City. Veterans who identify themselves while receiving care at either Sioux City hospital or the June E. Nylen Cancer Center will now be offered a complimentary copy of the book during their treatment.

This project is possible because of the incredible generosity of the Siouxland community. For this round of donations, I would especially like to thank:

Visiting Angels Tyler, TX came up with a really cool initiative...the Visiting Angels Mobile Boutique! The best part? It’s FREE!

They had a simple idea: What if we brought the shopping trip to our patients?

Last week, they rolled into a local assisted living facility with our very own mobile boutique, and it was everything we hoped for. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces was priceless. We heard so many people say, “I don’t even remember the last time I got to go shopping.”
