Happy Birthday, Dr. Joe!

Today we celebrate the man behind Origin Health and Origin Strength—owner, chiro, coach, husband, and father of four, with one precious son watching from Heaven.

The best way to describe Joe is simple: a simple man with a fierce and passionate heart. He’s a visionary who is always looking ahead, but he doesn’t just dream—he takes action. Joe is deeply driven by purpose and anchored in his faith. He loves the Lord, and he loves his people fiercely.

Those who know Joe know he leads differently. He is the epitome of a servant leader—one who carries the weight of leadership with care, conviction, and humility. The people under his care know that he doesn’t take that responsibility lightly. He stands as a steady rock, leading with strength while always acknowledging the true foundation beneath it all.

Joe also has a way of bringing humor into almost any situation, while remaining deeply compassionate and tender when the mission calls for it.

Origin Podcast Studio Sneak Peak.

We’ve been working quietly behind the scenes to bring this space to life, and today we had a very important impromptu conversation with Ashley and George (age 2). George will probably hold the title from youngest Origin Podcast guest — ever.

Topics ranged from faith, friends, and fitness…to snacks. The dialogue moved quickly from serious to silly, which felt pretty on-brand.

All jokes aside, we’re excited for what’s coming. This space has been years in the making, and we can’t wait to start sharing more invigorating + meaningful conversations soon.

Until then…George will keep us grounded on what really matters — Jesus, friends, fitness, and snacks. Definitely snacks.

We finally had our Origin Health Team Christmas Party this weekend. So…Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. Happy Valentine’s Day. Happy… all the things! 😆Because the truth is—every day is a gift to celebrate.

We started the night with a meal + hangs at the Moens’ and shout out to for the delicious charcuterie fruit + veggie spread with dips. The hummus’s, golly, to die for — carrot ginger, hummingbird purple sweet potato, and everything spice. Yes, they were all incredible in case you were wondering. Ended the evening with an Augustana Vikings hockey game and even got to meet Augie Doggie.

Nights like this remind us how grateful we are—not just for what we get to do, but who we get to do it with. 🤍
