The nights I couldn’t fix whatever was wrong. The ten minutes I sat on the bathroom floor because I needed a break from my own baby.

I felt guilty over it all, but what I learned was that none of it was landing on him the way it was landing on me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So here’s what I want you to know, mama: your baby is not asking you to be perfect. They’re just glad you’re giving them comfort as their mama 🥰
