Who else is counting down the days?!?

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Grant Van der Voort to Urology Specialists!

Dr. Van der Voort earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Boston College before receiving his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, followed by advanced fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery at Loyola Medicine.

His specialized fellowship training allows him to provide expert care for patients with complex reconstructive urologic conditions, bringing an added level of expertise to our team.

We’re proud to have Dr. Van der Voort joining our team in September and look forward to serving patients in Sioux Falls, SD, and Appleton, MN!

Meet Eric Traviss, CNP! Eric has more than 20 years of healthcare experience and has been part of the Sioux Falls community since 2005. He began his career as a surgical technologist before earning his BSN from the University of Iowa and MSN as a Certified Nurse Practitioner from Briar Cliff University. Eric joined Urology Specialists in 2021.

When he’s not caring for patients, Eric enjoys spending time at the lake and camping with family and friends.

Originally from Lake Benton, MN, Danielle earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota. She also holds a degree in Respiratory Care from Dakota State University. Danielle has been practicing as a Physician Assistant since 2015 and joined Urology Specialists in 2025.

Danielle is certified by the NCCPA and sees patients in Sioux Falls. She is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care to every patient she serves.
