👀What is shockwave therapy?
It is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-intensity acoustic shock waves to promote healing. It is commonly used to treat musculoskeletal conditions, such as tendon injuries, elbow pain, and plantar fasciitis. The therapy works by inducing a safe amount of stress on the tissue, which helps break up scar tissue, improve microcirculation, and boost local metabolism.
