🍓 The First Annual Strawberry Family Walk/Run — Saturday, June 20th at Tap Root FieldsRegistration is open! Kick off summer with a low-key, family-friendly morning at one of the most beautiful spots in Skaneateles.

This isn't a serious race — it's a walk/run for every age and every pace, plus refreshments, a bounce house for the kids, outdoor yard games, and plenty of time to hang out together. I

t falls on Father's Day weekend, so bring Dad and make a morning of it.It's our inaugural one, and we'd love your help making it a Skaneateles summer tradition.

We're teaming up with our friends at Tap Root Fields to launch something brand new: the First Annual Strawberry Family Walk/Run.

A run/walk for every age, every pace, and every kind of family. Whether you're chasing a personal best or just want to have some outdoor fun, this one's for you.

This event will take place at Tap Root Fields on Saturday, June 20th at 9:00AM and is a rain or shine activity.

Program Overview:

Big Field Prep is for middle school aged players who are getting ready to move to a bigger field, or who need more reps after a difficult season to help them learn more for next year. It’s ideal for kids who may struggle with confidence, but have a love for the game and want to keep improving.

From base running to infield, outfield, arm strengthening, footwork, hitting, and the broad skills needed to excel at this game — we cover a broad brushstroke over the two mornings.

The program is capped at 12 participants with 2 coaches present for a 1:6 ratio.
