The self-tuning guitar
TTC is not anti-mechanistic. There is always a mechanism. The distinction is what drives it. In the tonal model the mechanism is driven by intelligence, working through the physical substance of the NeuroSpinal System rather than being imposed on it from the outside. The most eloquent way we have found to describe that is a self-tuning guitar.
Imagine the NeuroSpinal System as a self-tuning guitar, one equipped with advanced AI, sensors, and precision mechanics that can tune itself better than any human ever could. As it is played, it continuously adjusts, striving for perfect resonance. But as the tuning mechanism comes under increasing tension, its capacity to perceive its own resonance begins to diminish. The more tension builds, the more tuning capability it loses, until, under too much tension, it can no longer properly tune itself. Because the system tunes itself best under ideal tension, far better than any human ever could, the best thing a human can do is not to try and tune it directly. It is to nudge it gently in the direction of decreasing tension where it has the most receptivity to input so that the system can reinitiate its own self-tuning processes.
That is the essence of Talsky Tonal Chiropractic: finding the best window into the NeuroSpinal System and communicating corrective intent through touch to an intelligent system designed to self-correct. By providing the least amount of the most effective input, we facilitate a learning experience for the NeuroSpinal System, helping it become increasingly effective at its own self-adjustment processes. We provide the body with the information it needs to re-initiate its own processes of self-correcting, healing, and becoming more whole.
Tone is the language of intelligence. Our aim is to communicate with it through touch and congruent intent.
That is the model in miniature. The two days in Buffalo are where it stops being an image and becomes a skill in your hands: how to find the best window in, and how to communicate a corrective intent through touch.
