If your healthcare provider recommends physical therapy, you can choose where you receive care. Even if your referral was sent somewhere else, you can request SEMC!

Our Physical Therapy team is here to help you move better, regain strength and get back to the activities you enjoy — close to home.

We had a great time celebrating the SEMC Fairfax Clinic Open House yesterday!

A big thank-you to the Fairfax community and Chamber for the warm welcome and to everyone who stopped by to visit, ask questions and celebrate with us. We truly appreciate the support as we get settled into the community.

We’re looking forward to getting to know Fairfax and the people who make this community what it is.

The Fairfax Clinic is currently open Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon, with additional availability coming soon.

💗 Supporting moms. Nourishing babies.💗

We’re proud to share that Sleepy Eye Medical Center is now home to a Breast Milk Depot!

Through our partnership with the Minnesota Milk Bank for Babies, approved donors can drop off breast milk locally at SEMC. The milk is then transported to the Milk Bank, where it is screened, pasteurized and tested before being provided to babies who need donor milk.

This effort is especially meaningful to us thanks to SEMC employee Megan VanZandt, whose encouragement helped bring a local drop-off site to our community. Megan was also the first donor to drop off milk at our new depot.

We’re honored to play a small part in supporting moms, babies and families—and helping make breast milk donation more accessible to interested mothers in our region.

It was a special morning at our new Fairfax Clinic.

KEYC News Now stopped by today to share the news about our clinic opening this October—and we were especially grateful to have Dr. Thomas Gilles with us for the occasion.

With Dr. Gilles and Dr. John Pelzel together in the halls, it felt like a passing of the baton. After more than 50 years of providing care to the Fairfax community, Dr. Gilles is welcoming Dr. Pelzel and our team into the space that has been home to so much care over the years.

We’re excited to begin this next chapter in Fairfax while honoring the tremendous commitment Dr. Gilles, his wife, and his team have made to this community.

Dr. Gilles, thank you for the opportunity to make this place our home and continue serving the people of Fairfax.
